Confessions of a Tar Heel

I tried to get UNC fan Big T to confess he’s a Duke fan but alas no such luck…yet.

I figured I’d take 2 seconds to stop picking on the Tar Heels and let one – just one – get a word in about the greatest rivalry in all of sports – Duke vs. Carolina.  Terry shares his thoughts on tonight’s game including who he thinks will win (silly Tar Heel):

Preview: With gameday lurking, for one of the biggest rivalries in all sports, let alone college hoops. These teams, regardless of their records, play some very intense, physical and competitive games.

3 keys to the game: In my opinion who get hot from beyond the arc the quickest, who will establish a post presence to help the shooters, and limit 2nd chance shots!

Impact player of the game: Marcus Paige has to have a huge impact vs Duke’s on ball defenders.

Surprise player of the game: The Heels need a huge game from Leslie Mcdonald to pull off the upset.

Final score prediction: Ultimately, I like Carolina in a upset 72-68!

Your fondest memory of Duke/UNC: One of my fondest memories of this rival is Marvin Williams put back at the buzzer.

Your worst memory of Duke/UNC: My worst memory is Austin Rivers 3 at the end of regulation last year in Chapel Hill!
