Favorite Memories of Duke vs. Carolina

Here are some of the most popular memories I got from Duke fans of the Duke/UNC rivalry:

@DukeOfHoops – 1995 @JeffCapel hits 40ft shot to send the game into a second overtime.

@Dukeblogger – 1998 Duke wins 77-75 and @steve_wojo rushes to hug Coach K who won his 500th game.

@DevilsInDurham – 2005 71-70. @JJRedick airballs and Raymond Felton poops his pants on the last possession. 23 UNC turnovers. Freshman Demarcus Nelson with 16 off the bench.

@markwslav – 2004 when @CDuhonStandTall hit the game winning shot in OT at the Dean Dome.

@KingAbbottSM32 – 2007 when @ghjr09 elbowed Tyler Hansbrough IN THE FACE!

@AZDukie – 2010 Without question 82-50 was the best moment in the rivalry. I was at the game and took in all the festivities of Gameday, etc. This win essentially got us rolling and helped us eclipse our fourth national championship. One word to describe this experience……..magical!

@DukeHoopBlog – 2011 when @ndotsmitty & @sdotcurry brought Duke back from down 16 to win.

@chrisalyss – 2011 ACC Championship when @ndotsmitty absolutely manhandling Kendall Marshall. Senior over freshman. Defense over offense. Loved every minute of that game and matchup.

@DukeRules91 – 2012 when @AustinRivers25 hit the dagger in Zeller’s face to complete the comeback at the Dean Dome.
